Krishna Janmashtami 2018: अगस्त में रक्षाबंधन के बाद सितंबर माह के पहले हफ्ते में ही कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का त्योहार मनाया जाएगा. इस बार 2 सितंबर को जन्माष्टमी पड़ रही है. इस बार पूजा का मुहूर्त महज 45 मिनट का है. मथुरा की कारावास में जन्मे भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का लालन-पालन गोकुल में हुआ था.
2 सितंबर, 2018 को रात 8 बजकर 47 मिनट से अष्टमी तिथि का आरंभ होगा और इसका समापन 3 सितंबर को शाम 7 बजकर 19 मिनट पर होगा. इस दिन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की भक्ति में सराबोर उनके भक्त पूरा दिन उपवास रखकर उनके जन्म के उपरांत व्रत खोलते हैं. इस दिन कान्हा का घी, मक्खन, दूध, जल आदि से अभिषेक कराया जाता है. मक्खन अधिक पसंद होने की वजह से श्रीकृष्ण को माखन चोर भी कहा जाता है. श्रीकृष्ण ने भगवान विष्णु के 8वें अवतार के रूप में जन्म लिया था.
